Venture Out Mailroom Explained

This guide will walk you through how the mailroom at Venture Out works. It's an easy process, but there are a few key things to remember to ensure you get all your packages and mail without any issues.

Getting Your Mail

To receive mail in the Venture Out mailroom, It is best to get a P.O. Box.

• The mail room is in the Rec Hall.

• The hours are Monday through Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• The mailroom is closed on holidays.

• The cost for a P.O. Box is a one-time cash deposit of $35.

Once you have your P.O. Box, USPS will deliver all your mail directly to the mailroom.

 If you do not obtain a P.O. Box, your mail will be held in the backdrop and will only be accessible during Mailroom hours. All held mail must be picked up in a timely manner.

Receiving Packages

Receiving packages from other carriers like FedEx and UPS works a little differently. These carriers do not deliver to the mailroom. Instead, they deliver directly to your specific unit number.

It's extremely important that your full unit number is on the shipping label of any package you order. This applies to all carriers-USPS, FedEx, and UPS. If your unit number is not on the package, it may be returned to the sender. Be sure to double-check this information when you place an order.

Holding or Forwarding Your Mail

If you need to have your mail held or forwarded, you can let the mailroom know by using the Condo Control website.

1. Log in to Condo Control.

2. On the side menu, select Service Request.

3. From the drop-down list under "Request Type," choose Mailroom Request.

 

Please make sure you provide the mailroom with address labels that have your forwarding address on them. This will ensure your mail is sent to the correct location.
